Autism Society of Oregon
A statewide support group which is a chapter of the Autism Society of
America.
Autistic Children's Activity Program
(ACAP)
A not-for-profit organization
that focuses on direct services needed for children with autism.
Northwest Autism Foundation
A non-profit corporation that provides services to individuals with autism,
especially children, and to their families.
Threshold
A nonprofit social service organization that help people learn about effective
and affordable developmental Autism intervention strategies
Developmental Disabilities Office (State)
A county based resource that can provide: Respite care and be a potential
sources of funding for parent training, ABA consultants, In-Home programs,
Equipment , and other therapies.
Oregon Advocacy Center
This organization advocates for people with disabilities and can aid
parents in the educational IFSP and IEP processes. It also educates parents
regarding special legal rights a person with disabilities may be entitled
to.
